Question about Power Drill.?
I got a Black & Decker Corded Power Drill but something inside the drill like a “dark coal bar” worn out after long time use.
Does anyone know what is the “dark coal bar” called.
And where can I buy it for replacement.

“the dark coal bar is like a brush for the generator, when the machine turns it makes little bit of fire light”.

that bar is an electric brush, just go to an electric supply house and they should either have one or be able to get you one….a black and decker dealer should have them as well, as well as the black and decker company HQ

Blade for Black & Decker Jig Saw?
i have an old (but in perfect condition) black and decker js200 corded jig saw. i used it to cut one line through my door (installing a doggy door) and when i went to do the next, the blade started slipping out! it is a “quick clamp” system — i cannot get the blade to stay in now! it seems to be tight, but comes out as soon as i put it to work. does it require a certain blade (however, i did use it once with good success)? is there something i may have done by accident that made it stay in (like — i have no idea . . .) or am i missing something? the manuals for this particular drill are not on line — i would have to wait for them to mail it. any help would be appreciated. the blade i have is a bim – [something] american (paint is off). thanks!

there are 2 types of jig saw blades. Assuming you have put in the same kind that came out (the difference is the part you put into the “socket” then you might have.
